About Us

NIDAU was founded with a profound vision: to become a leading institution in promoting Islamic
values, education, and civilization. Our focus is on nurturing well-mannered, well-educated
individuals who are equipped to contribute positively to society. We believe in laying down a strong
foundation for Islamic education and spreading the message of Islam through DAWA (Islamic
outreach) across Northern Uganda.
Our work is deeply rooted in the principles of Islam, including the values of responsibility, integrity,
compassion, and dedication. We aim to create a community that reflects the true spirit of Islam,
where Muslims support one another, grow together, and collectively work towards fulfilling the will of Allah (SWT).

Our Vision:

To introduce Islamic culture across Uganda.
To promote the beauty and depth of Islamic civilization.
To add Islamic values to the fabric of humanity.
To set benchmarks through our methods and manners, forming a cooperative structure.
To establish a robust framework for education and publication in Northern Uganda.

Our Mission:

NIDAU is devoted to raising a generation of Muslims who are well-mannered, well-educated, and
capable of contributing to every aspect of development. We hold fast to our responsibilities,
ensuring that our values and manners reflect the true spirit of Islam. Our mission includes fostering
solidarity among Muslims and acting as a gateway to spiritual services, guiding our community with
wisdom and care.

sympathizers. Our mission is not just about fulfilling our vision; it is about adhering to the principles
that guide all our activities. We aim to create a solid foundation for Islamic education and extend our

Our Team

The team at the Northern Islamic DAWA Association of Uganda (NIDAU) is composed of dedicated
individuals who are deeply committed to the mission of spreading Islamic teachings, promoting
community solidarity, and fostering a sense of unity among Muslims in Northern Uganda. This team
works tirelessly to ensure that the values of Islam are upheld and that the needs of the community
